I still had a couple of weeks until my due date, so My Mum and Dad to go and visit their friends Chas and Karen in Basingstoke for the weekend. Someone must have told me that if I run up and down a few stairs for a while, it would start my labour off, and of course me being stupid thought it would be a great idea to try it, just to see if it worked, and just my luck it did. I rang my Mum to tell her they have to come back, its started I've gone into labour but by this time my Dad, was totally off his face and drunk, so in the end my Mum and Brother ended up having to get a cab back from there straight to the hospital which cost them £80.00. When my Dad woke up, they told him that mum had left cause I had gone into labour, Still drunk he got in the car and drove all the way to hospital hoping to make it in time, but by the time he got there I had just given birth to his first born Kos Anthony Paul (named after both his granddads) xxxxx This I know was another very special memory that my Dad kept close to his heart.
